Thy light on my soul

When the light resonates with your essence to make it wonderful, just like the white light reflecting off snowflakes and giving them a sparky look.

"Thou light shall fall on my soul,

my light resonates your wavelength, 

with a serene aura all around.

Similar to the white lamp, 

cascading its heat over snowflakes, 

snow sparks and melts, 

mesmerised with the warmth and heat. 

Thou shall enlighten my soul,

Pause & Listen

Sometimes it's so easy for us to say to someone else, "Don't take things so seriously, you need to chill a bit more", just because we are doing better or are way too busy with what is going on with our own life.

It's very easy to just dismiss someone else's state of mind and start advocating our thoughts. But in that moment, the other person just needs an ear to listen without any judgement. That person is not looking for answers...they are just talking and need you to just shut up and listen.

Your few misplaced phrases make them go back in their shell and then, they decide not to share with you anymore. You don't then even realise it that you are doing that. Because you are just busy. That's it. You are going about your life and don't have a moment to pause for that other person.

Even if you are busy beyond help to make yourself feel worthy and save yourself from confronting your own emotions, Just take a momentary pause. And next time, when you talk to anyone, be it a friend or a family member, Please don't do anything else side by side. Your attention is of essence at that moment. Don't stop for small talk if you don't have time.

But if you do decide to talk, then Please just give your attention to them. You don't need to provide any solution, just an ear to listen.

Next time do think before you call someone to ask ~ How are you? What's up?

Don't just do it to make yourself feel better that you are checking in. Do it only if you are ready to give your full attention and listen to what they have to say.

Inner Child & Soap cloud

Work half done (Quarantine Diaries #23)

This minar was supposedly to be twice the size of Qutub Minar upon completion.

But, as per history, the work didn't get finish due to the death of Khilji who was the one behind the idea of this unfinished minar.

I wonder how large it would have been, had it been completed ?!
